Big Ole Invitational

Jefferson High School of Alexandria was host to the “Big Ole” Invitational. St. Cloud Apollo Eagles and Rocori Spartans both participated in this nine team invitational.

The Eagles earned fifth place with 84 points with five place winners.

Winning championships were won by Mitch Bengston at 138 pounds and Grant Nehring at 145 pounds.

Bryce Kirchner earned third place and Seth Pachan earned fifth place at 106 pounds and Derek Biendara earned fifth place at 170 pounds.

The Spartans of Rocori earned 52 points with four place winners. Tyler Hoffman won the championship at 285 and Adam Kunz earned fourth place at 113 pounds, cody Buerman and Michael Schwighammer both earned fifth place at 132 and 145 pounds

Mitch Bengston of St. Cloud Apollo also won his 250th career match at the invitiational.
